Sing out at our Summer Sing !

Do you enjoy great choral music? Do you sing in a choir or chorus and miss singing during the summer months? Enjoy an evening with fellow singers and music lovers while making beautiful music together

The Masterwork Chorus will sponsor its popular annual program of community Summer Sings on Wednesday evenings June 23, through July 28 at 7:30 p.m. All evenings feature a respected area conductor, with professional soloists and accompanist and take place at Xavier Center, College of St. Elizabeth, 23 Convent Road, Convent Station, NJ.

Admission is $12, Listeners and Students: $6.00. Admission includes refreshments and scores for singers. Participants may bring their own scores. Booklets containing five admission tickets are available for $50; tickets may be shared.

The Masterwork Chorus first CD album, "To Hear the Angels Sing", sold out! The good news is a second pressing is now available for you early shoppers as are digital downloads. This inspirational a cappella recording explores a wide range of genre including plain chant, Spanish baroque, American shape note singing, Mendelssohn, Brahms and traditional carols. The centerpiece of the album is the stunning, but rarely performed, "An Apostrophe to the Heavenly Hosts", by Healey Willan. Each site below contains music clips and purchase opportunities.
